This page lists everything this site stores on your device or reads from it, why, for how long, and how to change your mind. It is written to Article 5(3) of the ePrivacy Directive — in Finland, section 205 of the Act on Electronic Communications Services — and to Articles 13 to 21 of the General Data Protection Regulation.
Until you answer the cookie banner, this site loads nothing from anyone else and stores nothing for analytics or advertising. Every image, film and typeface comes from this domain. If you choose Reject, it stays that way; if you choose Accept, one Google analytics tag is loaded so we can see how many people visit and which pages they read. Advertising identifiers stay switched off either way.

The contact page is the contact channel: for this notice, for any of the rights set out below, and for anything else you would like to ask. Replies go to the address you give.
“Cookie” is used loosely in this notice to cover any storage on your device. Two kinds are used: cookies proper, which are small files a site sets and reads back on later visits, and local storage, which is a place in the browser where a site can keep a value indefinitely. The law treats both the same way, so this notice does too.
These are used because the site cannot do what you asked of it without them. The law allows them without consent, and they cannot be switched off from this site.

These are set only after you choose Accept, and only on the live site. Choosing Reject, or simply not answering, means they are never set. The legal basis is your consent, which you may withdraw at any time.

Accepting also loads a script from googletagmanager.com. That request, and the measurement it carries, reaches Google and no one else. Nothing is sent to Google before you accept.
If you accept, Google receives your IP address, the pages you look at, and general information about your browser and device, and acts as our processor in doing so. Advertising personalisation and Google signals are disabled in our configuration, so the measurement is not used to build an advertising profile of you here.
Google may process this outside the European Economic Area, including in the United States. Google LLC is certified under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework, and its standard contractual clauses apply in addition. Google’s own explanation of how it uses this data is published in its policy on data used by sites that use its services.
The button below reopens the banner, whichever way you answered it before. Rejecting after having accepted also deletes the Google cookies from this site straight away.
Your browser can do the same thing more bluntly: every current browser can block or delete cookies for one site or for all of them, and clearing this site’s storage removes the record of your choice along with everything else, so the banner will ask again.
Two things reach us without any cookie being involved, and both are mentioned here so that this page is not misleading by omission.
When you send the contact form, the message and email address you type are stored on the server and sent on to us by email, together with the time, your IP address and your browser’s user-agent string — kept as a record of who wrote and as a guard against abuse of the form. The form also asks you a simple question and times how long the page was open before you sent it, both to keep automated spam out; the count of recent messages from an address is kept as a one-way hash, so the address itself is not held for that purpose. None of this involves any other company: there is no third-party captcha on this site, and nothing about the check leaves this server. When a pre-order page is opened, a counter is increased; it records no address, no identifier and nothing about you.
Ordinary web-server logs of requests to this site are kept by our hosting provider in the normal way.
Under the GDPR you may ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected or erased, ask that we restrict what we do with it, object to our processing of it, and ask to receive it in a portable form. Where processing rests on your consent — as the optional cookies do — you may withdraw that consent at any time, and doing so does not affect what was lawful beforehand.
Requests can be made through the contact page, which is the contact channel for all of this. Please say which right you are exercising and give an address we can reply to; we answer within one month, as the Regulation requires. If you are not satisfied with the answer, you may complain to the Finnish supervisory authority, the Office of the Data Protection Ombudsman (Tietosuojavaltuutetun toimisto), Lintulahdenkuja 4, 00530 Helsinki, or through tietosuoja.fi, or to the authority in the EU country where you live.
If a tool is added to this site that stores anything on your device, this page and the banner will be updated before it is used, and consent will be asked again where the law requires it.
